November saw the successful installation of Zone 2 on the Red Car project. This was a critical phase on the project and one that presented the biggest challenge yet! The whole of the Zone structure was pre-assembled at ground level and lifted as one item totalling 210T.
The accuracy of fabrication and the extent of detailing provided by REL played a fundamental part in ensuring that the activity went without mishaps and the two structures fitted perfectly.
Structural Steel Craft are now in application of ISO9001. We are working hard to gain the Quality Management System certificate.
