It is great to be working with Sienna Construction again. Efficiency always brings great results. The whole team from Sienna, KUS and SSE worked together to ensure the steel installation was allowed to be carried out with minimum disruption.
September has been a busy month for SSC. We have moved to new premises to accommodate current and future expansion of our services.
Part of this expansion has been the procurement of Safeguard Architectural Metalwork Ltd. SSC used to be the sole installer for the Safeguard systems and it was a natural progression to acquire the business and bring it within the SSC management structure.
We at Structural Steel Craft are all excited for the future and looking forward to providing our clients a more versatile service whilst maintaining our high standards.
Structural Steel Craft are pleased to have secured two new projects. We look forward to working with Mulalley & Co. Ltd. and Frencon Construction Ltd.
Mulalley & Co. contacted us to work on their Woodward Road project. This development will provide a total of 56 new affordable homes. The homes will be in three blocks of apartments and 13 mews houses. The completed site will also include the construction of a new commercial space and minor alterations to an existing listed library.
We will be assisting Frencon Construction Limited on their 8 Power Road project. This development will be the main headquarters for Frencon Construction itself.
Here at Structural Steel Craft we are making good progress on two of our current housing projects.
The Northbrook House project on behalf of Taylor French is development of social rented units, including houses and apartments. SSC are providing all the architectural metalwork, including the balconies shown here.
Our project at Uxbridge is currently in the process of installing steel railings and steel screens.
Structural Steel Craft are proud to be working alongside Mizen Construction on a 6-storey new build scheme in Hanwell, London. We will be undertaking the design & manufacture of all metalwork, and installation of a Petrarch cladding system.
Our large project with United Living is nearing completion. Sparrow Farm Drive in Hounslow, consists of 15 two-bed and 10 three-bed homes. Structural Steel Craft was tasked with the full architectural package on this project.
Our Safeguard railing system was used on all the balcony areas. For more information, see safe-guardUK.com.
It’s looking like a busy few months ahead for everyone at Structural Steel Craft, with work continuing on multiple projects.
We will be working alongside Sienna Construction on a local project. This involves improvements being made on Hoeford substation to reinforce the electricity infrastructure to 3,500 homes and businesses. Our work will help to future-proof the electricity supply and improve its resilience for decades to come.
Further afield, in conjunction with Northvale Construction, work has commenced on the New Hibernia House project at Borough Market in London. This project consists of the conversion of offices into a restaurant at ground floor level, construction of a basement and also the erection of a two-storey roof extension.
